To date, endometriosis is a chronic condition and has no cure. However, there are some treatments for endometriosis that can help relieve the symptoms caused by this uterine condition.
Among the main treatments to relieve the pain caused by endometriosis, as well as other types of symptoms, are:
- Use of painkillers.
- Hormonal treatment.
- Surgery.
As for treatment to achieve pregnancy with endometriosis, it will depend on the woman's age and the extent of the endometriosis. For example, in young women with mild endometriosis, artificial insemination may be sufficient to achieve pregnancy.
