There are many possible reasons why IVF may have failed and given rise to a negative pregnancy test result. It may be due to the quality of the gametes (eggs and sperm), the quality of the embryo generated, genetic alterations incompatible with embryonic development, anomalies or malformations in the uterus, immune system problems, etc.
After a negative IVF, a personalised study must be carried out to try to find out the possible cause or causes and optimise the next treatment, with the aim of achieving pregnancy in this new attempt.
