What medications are needed for the spermiogram?

By Rebeca Reus BSc, MSc (embryologist).
Last Update: 03/18/2022

There is no medication that has to be taken for a semen analysis. However, in case any alteration is detected in the spermogram, the physician may prescribe the patient a nutritional supplement to improve the seminal quality during the following 3 months and evaluate if there is an improvement with a new semen analysis.
