A fallopian tube obstruction doesn't actually cause symptoms on its own. However, the underlying cause that led to that tubal blockage can also produce other symptoms. That's the case with infections, which can cause abnormal vaginal discharge, or, for example, endometriosis, which is characterized by causing very painful periods.
