Female infertility due to uterine anomalies

Uterine anomalies are a cause of female infertility due to uterine factor that affects their fertility and prevent pregnancy.

Amongst the main alterations we can find Müllerian duct anomalies, which are caused by defects during early embryo development, that is, during the first or second trimester of pregnancy. As a result, girls are born with one of these malformations, which is likely to make them childless. In most cases, they are not detected until they reach puberty or adulthood.
