When a pregnancy is not achieved successfully after a year trying to conceive, we can talk about infertility or fertility problems. A series of tests should be run in order for the cause to be detected and find a solution that allows the couple to have a baby.
Factors that may influence fertility include:
- The quality of the gametes.
- The age of the woman.
- The ability to bear children.
- The ability to have sexual relations.
If any of these points is altered, the couple may have difficulties in achieving pregnancy.
