Does fever affect sperm quality?

Hello doc,
My husband’s been for the whole week with fever and otitis externa taking antibiotics, painkillers and antibacterial drops. We started preparing for a new IVF cycle last March 29, but we don’t think his sperm quality is good at the moment due to fever…. What do you recommend? Should we wait for 3 months to start a new cycle?
