Hi all,
I’m planning on getting pregnant as soon as everything returns to normal. I’m from NYC and currently studying some fertility clinics here. What do you think about New Hope Fertility?
I’m specifically looking for someone who is specialized in the treatment of endometriosis patients. What I have understood so far is that I definitely need to have an IVF. My partner does not have any problems with sterility as he already has a son from a previous marriage. The problem is definitely on my side.04/05/2020 at 11:17 amHi Hanna,
I was a patient at New Hope Fertility. They do treat endometriosis patients. How severe is your endometriosis? I have a mild form and was successful in my first IVF attempt. I was extremely happy with the doctors. But I also have to say that you need to have a great portion of luck, too because nobody can guarantee a 100% pregnancy success.

thank you for answering. I have stage IV endometriosis so I’m not quite as positive as you. I assume I will need to undergo various IVF cycles before getting pregnant. So that also brings me to the next question. Can you tell me what an IVF will cost me? Do they offer financing? Insurance coverage? I’ve been saving for years now but I’m not sure if I’ll make it this far with $7,000.
05/02/2020 at 3:00 pmHello Hanna,
first of all, it is possible to get pregnant with endometriosis. Which fertility treatment you need, depends on how severe your endometriosis is. In your case, you need to opt for IVF in cases of stage IV endometriosis. In terms of pregnancy probability, the specialist may recommend laparoscopy before beginning fertility treatment to improve the likelihood of pregnancy. However, any additional technique needs to be assessed on an individual basis together with your fertility doctor.

Also, feeling comfortable in a fertility clinic is very important. The IVF process is a hard road and can generate a lot of stress for patients, so try to avoid any additional inconvenience. For this reason, from inviTRA we always advise you to visit at least two or three fertility clinics before making a decision so that you can compare your own impressions of each one.
In our clinic directory, you will be able to obtain information about the centers in your area you are interested in. Here is the link: Clinic directory.
Hope this helps,
wish you all the best.
