Hello girls, I am 28 and have been trying to get pregnant for 18 months, we got pregnant around cycle 10 but sadly we had a miscarriage. We waited a couple of months to try again but I got pregnant and had a chemical pregnancy last month. I think I need help03/15/2022 at 5:30 pm
I also had a couple of miscarriages and they told me I couldn´t maintain a pregnancy to term, they told me I could get some tests done and after the results, I had two options, egg donation or gestational surrogacy. We are very torn between these options, did someone go thru with any of these options?03/22/2022 at 9:12 am
Generally, after recurrent miscarriages, a trip to a fertility specialist is recommended. The physician will most likely get some tests done to establish if there is any complication that could explain the miscarriages. Based on the results the doctor will recommend a custom procedure for your results.
Ideally, the genetic evaluation would determine what went wrong and try and control it in further pregnancy. The way to do it is to perform a PGD of the embryo and select the healthiest ones to implant thru IVF.
I recommend you read this article that will explain how recurrent miscarriages are treated: Recurrent Miscarriages
I hope I could help,
All the best.03/29/2022 at 5:48 pm
