Hey, I want to donate my eggs for money of course (currently working at night, not earning too much and here in the US compensation rates are quite attractive…). How much are egg donors paid? I mean, what is their salary? Not having run any tests, but I guess I’m super fertile because when I was 21 I got pregnant after boyfriend not pulling out in time (it happened just once, I wasn’t on my fertile window and still it happened, that’s why I believe I’m very fertile). Now I’m 24 so I guess it hasn’t changed too much… What can you tell me? Price, requirements, all that stuff… And also… Can you donate eggs after abortion?
Thank you ladies.

Firstly, yes, women can donate their eggs even if they had an abortion in the past, there’s no problem with that. As for how much will you be paid to donate your eggs, well, it depends on the fertility clinic or egg bank you donate at, but normally in the United States, compensation rates start at $5,000 on average, and they increase with subsequent donations in case you want to donate your ovarian eggs multiple times. In fact, egg donors who had already donated successfully are compensated at a higher rate. Usually, the payment is done partially: the first part at the start of the cycle – when the donor starts taking hormone medications – and then after the OPU (ovum pick-up, that is, egg retrieval).
