Is embryo adoption cheaper than IVF?

Hi

I live in New York and I am single. I don´t want a partner but I do want a baby! I know I have left it late now as I am 39 but I am looking at IVF in New York and was shocked – I went for consult for IVF with egg donation at the Center for Human Reproduction and I just can´t see how I am going to pay for it.

So, I did some more research and started thinking about embyro adoption. Has anyone done this? It is worth me looking into?

Embryo adoption involves using the cryo-preserved embryos which are left over from IVF cycles from other couples. It is a good option if you do not wish to undergo the processses of ovarian stimulation and IVF. It is also a more cost effective option.
