  2. Dear vijju,

This condition is called “Testicular microlithiasis” (TM) and is relatively common. As described in your analysis, it represents the deposition of various tiny calcifications in the testes. It is very common in patients without cancer and is likely a marker of tubular degeneration. It can be associated with:

    – Klinefelter syndrome
    – Granuloma
    – Cryptorchidism
    – Alveolar microlithiasis
    – Down syndrome
    – Testicular germ cell tumou

In your case, the cause is related to a granuloma, as mentioned in your analysis. Unfortunately, there’s no cure or treatment for TM. The European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) recommends that men diagnosed with this condition are monitored via ultrasound to ensure that no other condition develops. Talk with your urologist for further advice.

    I hope this helps,

    Best
