Hello, let’s see if you can clear my doubts…

I had a transvaginal ultrasound done and my endometrial thickness is 14 mm.

But my question is what is the reason behind that measurements?

    Thanks for your help!

  2. The endometrium changes throughout the menstrual cycle according to the stage where the woman is at that moment. By the end of the proliferative phase, it can reach a maximum of 14 mm as yours does. This measurements remain like that until the beginning of your period or until pregnancy in case fertilization occurs.

The ideal endometrial thickness for pregnancy is 10 mm, although 14 is not an unusual result. If you’ve been trying to conceive for a year and have not become pregnant, my recommendation is that you resort to ART. For that purpose, you can visit an assisted reproduction centre and they will give you all the medical assistance you require according to your situation.
