Hormonal drugs such as Gonal-f should not be given if a woman presents any of these situations: tumor processes, especially in the pituitary gland and ovaries, ovarian cysts that are not caused by polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), abnormal vaginal bleeding, and periods of pregnancy and breastfeeding.
