When a male is suitable for sperm donation, he will receive financial compensation of an amount fixed by the National Comission of Assited Reproduction.
The donor will receive compensation of between approximately €30 - €50, every time a sample is donated. Usually, the sperm donor will attend the fertility clinic once a week over the course of four weeks to provide a sample.
