Cramps affect the vast majority of pregnant women and can occur at different stages of pregnancy.
They are located in the abdomen, lower abdomen or uterine area and are characterized by tightness.
Apart from nidation, cramps are a pelvic ligament syndrome: they are the result of the uterus changing to accommodate the baby properly.
