There are several reasons why a man's reproductive capacity may be affected. The most common factors that cause male sterility are the prestesticular or endocrine factor, the testicular factor and the posttesticular factor. In addition, we must not forget the sperm factor, that is, alterations in the semen, whether in the concentration, mobility, morphology, etc. of the spermatozoa or even in the seminal volume.
