One of the most common questions is whether conventional in vitro fertilization is better than sperm microinjection or ICSI. However, the answer is that there is no one fertilization technique that is better than another, but that it will depend on each situation.
In the case of patients with low ovarian reserve, who obtain few eggs and if the semen sample is valuable, then IVF-ICSI will be chosen. In addition, if the intention is to genetically analyze the embryos, then the ICSI technique would also be indicated.
