Normally, drugs containing luteinizing hormone (LH) are used in three types of patients. On the one hand, in low responders, i.e. those who do not develop the desired ovarian response after administration of hormone medication.
On the other hand, LH drugs are also used in women who suffer from amenorrhea or few menses and in women who have lower than usual basal LH and FSH levels.
