The semen analysis is the test par excellence for evaluating male fertility. If any of the parameters analyzed in the semen analysis are abnormal, the specialist may request additional tests to confirm the diagnosis.
Some of the additional tests used to evaluate male fertility are karyotyping, sperm fragmentation analysis, testicular biopsy, sperm FISH, etc.
