Study of the karyotype in men

Karyotype is the representation of the chromosomes in each cell of an individual. A chromosomal analysis allows us to assess whether it could be the cause of infertility in the man. It should be noted that the normal karyotype for men is 46, XY, while for women it is 46, XX.

The karyotype analysis is carried out from a sample of the man's blood and the results will show whether there are abnormalities in the number or structure of the chromosomes.
