Noonan syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by an alteration in chromosome 12. Males affected by this syndrome have particular characteristics. Some of them are listed below:
- Triangular face.
- Eyes wide apart.
- Short neck.
- low implantation of the ears.
In relation to male fertility, Noonan syndrome also causes sterility due to testicular factor. This means that the majority of men with the syndrome suffer from cryptorchidism or defects in the penis that hinder their reproductive activity.
