The second trimester ultrasound, also called morphological ultrasound, is one of the most important of the entire pregnancy. In it, the gynecologist makes a very complete study of the fetus, measures all its limbs and examines all the organs, in addition to studying the placenta, the umbilical cord and the amniotic fluid.
