The non-invasive prenatal maternal blood test is a test that is performed in the 9th week of pregnancy and provides information on the fetal karyotype.
Thanks to this study, it is possible to detect chromosomal alterations, such as Patau syndrome, Edward syndrome, Down syndrome or diseases associated with sex chromosomes.
This non-invasive prenatal test is easy and without risk to the mother and fetus. In addition, the test helps reduce invasive tests such as amniocentesis.
