The 34th week of pregnancy is part of the ninth month of gestation. At this time of pregnancy, the fetus is about 44 cm long and weighs more than 2 kilograms.
In addition, its bone structure has hardened, except for the eggs in the head. This helps the baby pass through the birth canal. If the baby were born at 34 weeks gestation, it would most likely have to spend a few days in an incubator, but the chances of survival would be high.
