Post-testicular causes of oligospermia

Post-testicular causes of oligospermia are due to blocked vasa deferentia, the passage of sperm prior to being ejaculated.

A potential cause of such blockage may be an infection and subsequent inflammation of the vasa deferentia, the epididymis, or the urethra.
