PICSI is a method of sperm selection that offers certain benefits to patients. The main advantage of PICSI is that it consists of an objective selection and it will be the spermatozoa themselves that will naturally bind to the hyaluronic acid. Therefore, sperm selection is not done by the embryologist, unlike in ICSI.
On the other hand, the selected spermatozoa have a high degree of maturation, so that increases the pregnancy rate and declines the abortion rate.
