Age is a major factor in determining a woman's chance of pregnancy. As time goes by, the quantity and quality of eggs decreases and, therefore, the pregnancy rate decreases.
One option when you want to delay having a baby is to preserve female fertility. This means that the eggs are frozen through the vitrification technique so that they can be stored for an indefinite period of time. So, when the woman wants to make use of them, she only has to devitrify them and proceed to fertilise them with spermatozoa.
