The fetus needs to be monitored regularly during pregnancy. This requires ultrasound, a diagnostic imaging method that allows you to see if the evolution is being correct.
Normally, an ultrasound is done at week 12, another at week 20, and finally another at week 36. The gynecologist is responsible for analyzing all the parameters that can give information about the fetus.
