Artificial insemination (AI) is an assisted reproduction technique of low complexity, so its cost is more economical.
The patient will be administered hormonal medication, but in low quantity. For this reason, the side effects that the woman will notice will be less in comparison with in vitro fertilization (IVF).
When the time comes for the insemination, it will be performed in the doctor's office. Therefore, the patient will not have to undergo surgery and no anesthesia is used.
