One of the most common concerns among women undergoing ICSI is whether they should rest after the embryo transfer.
On the one hand, it is common for the patient to remain lying down for 5 to 30 minutes immediately after the transfer, in order to relax. However, once the woman leaves the fertility clinic, she can go on with her normal life as long as the specialist has not specifically recommended complete rest.
Nevertheless, it is advisable for the woman to avoid physical exertion, intense sports activities, and stress.
