Once the embryo transfer has been performed, the two-week wait begins. This is the time period that the woman must wait until the pregnancy test is performed.
During this time, it is not necessary for the woman to rest. It is advisable for the patient to go about her normal life (provided the specialist has not indicated otherwise), but avoiding intense sports, physical exertion (such as carrying a lot of weight) and stress.
