Saliva ovulation tests have some disadvantages or drawbacks, resulting in them being not as widely used as ovulation tests that detect LH hormone in urine.
Among these disadvantages are the learning period that saliva ovulation tests require for the woman to be able o correctly interpret the patterns observed. In addition, the accuracy of these saliva tests in predicting the day of ovulation is moderate.
