The idea of creating savior siblings has creating an ethical dilemma were we can find arguments for and against, especially as regards the potential psychological effects of such procedure.
Those against savior siblings would argue that it may cause psychological harm to the savior sibling, who may feel neglected by his/her parents in the future, after finding out that he/she was created for a purpose.
Conversely, those in favor would argue that being a savior sibling creates a strong sense of pride in the person, as he/she contributed to saving a life by just existing.
