    1. Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to make a gender selection since we have 3 daughters and we would like to have a boy. Thank you

      • Hello Madylin,

Gender selection is not possible in all states as it is based on legal regulations. In New Jersey specifically, the state does allow it.

This clinic, South Jersey Fertility, based on the information reflected on their website does offer this technique. It performs ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval, which are fertilized in the laboratory. Once they are sufficiently developed, the laboratory technicians extract a cell to analyze it genetically and determine if they are XX (female) or XY (male).

Finally, the embryos of the desired sex are implanted, thus achieving a pregnancy of the sex the couple desires.

I hope I have solved your doubt
