Infertility of unknown origin (ODE) or unexplained infertility, as the name suggests, is when all fertility tests in the man and the woman are within normal limits. However, the couple is unable to achieve pregnancy.
This reason for infertility accounts for 20% of cases and its diagnosis is quite complicated. Although there is no known reason why pregnancy is not achieved, this does not mean that assisted reproduction techniques cannot be used to achieve it.
