Some countries have enacted laws thanks to which children conceived through gamete donation, as well as adopted children, can gain access to information about their biological origins.
For example, Switzerland's constitution makes reference to every child's right to know about his or her biological lineage, regardless of whether he or she was conceived through donor gametes or not.
