Women who practiced sports before pregnancy can continue with physical activity. However, it is important to adapt the exercises to each stage of pregnancy.
If a woman did not exercise before gestation, it would be advisable to start during pregnancy. This is because exercising during pregnancy offers numerous benefits for women, such as relieving back pain, improving sleep, and more.
Some of the recommended sports during pregnancy are yoga, pilates, swimming, cycling (or stationary biking from the fifth month of pregnancy), and going for daily walks.
