Taking care of nutrition during pregnancy is essential to promote maternal and fetal well-being. Therefore, it is important to follow a balanced diet throughout the weeks of pregnancy, avoiding raw or undercooked foods, alcohol, caffeine, and tobacco.
In addition, to try to relieve the typical nausea of the first months of pregnancy, it is advisable not to skip any meals. Other recommendations to combat nausea during pregnancy are the following:
- Snack between meals.
- Eat protein-rich foods.
- Drink ginger infusions.
