All women who are looking for convenience opt for the contraceptive ring, as they do not have to be aware of taking pills on a daily basis, for example. However, the contraceptive ring cannot be used in all cases.
For example, women with a high body mass index or women with a family history of breast cancer should not use this contraceptive method. Similarly, women over 35 years of age, diabetics or women with unexplained bleeding are also not recommended to use the contraceptive ring.
