The procedure that can be performed to reverse a vasectomy is called vasovasostomy. This procedure consists of rejoining the vas deferens, so that the sperm can pass through again.
However, vasovasostomy does not always restore a man's fertility. The more years that have passed between the vasectomy and its reversal, the less chance of success.
