In the male fertility study, it is true that the semen analysis is of great importance. However, there are other tests that the specialist may request according to the clinical history and the results of previous tests. Among them are:
- Sperm DNA fragmentation study.
- FISH of spermatozoa.
- Microdeletions of the Y chromosome.
- Seminal culture.
- Testicular biopsy.
Therefore, the male fertility study will generally not include all these tests, but those that the specialist considers appropriate depending on the particular situation.
