After an embryo transfer, the patient usually remains at rest in the clinic or assisted reproduction center for about 20-30 minutes. Afterwards, the woman can go home and lead a normal life, avoiding physical exertion.
As recommendations, immersion baths and sexual intercourse should be avoided. In addition, it is important to keep hydrated.
