Stretch marks are usually located on parts of the body that accumulate fat, such as the abdomen, hips, breasts, thighs or buttocks. They are common in pregnancy, from week 12 onwards, when the growth of the belly becomes visible.
At the beginning of their appearance, stretch marks usually have a pink or reddish color, which later becomes white, and give the woman an itching sensation.
