Zika virus infection

In recent years, an increase in the spread of the Zika virus has been sighted across the African continent by the moment.

Last year and specially currently (at the beginning of 2016), the number of people infected with this virus has increased significantly.

Even though its symptoms are mild, several studies are being conducted in order to evaluate its relation with the birth of babies with microcephaly in women infected with the Zika virus.
