Tips in the 25th week of pregnancy

If it has not been performed in week 24, during the 25th week of pregnancy it is recommended to perform the second trimester analysis, which includes tests such as biochemical profile, complete blood count and determination of glucose levels. Screening for gestational diabetes is also usually performed.

Some recommendations that can contribute to the well-being of the pregnant woman in the 25th week are the following:

  • Drink plenty of fluids.
  • Practice relaxation techniques.
  • Walk in comfortable shoes.
  • Avoid tight clothing.

In addition, reflux and heartburn are common symptoms during the 25th week of pregnancy. Therefore, drinking herbal teas such as chamomile can help the pregnant woman feel better.
