Symptoms in the third month of pregnancy

In the third month of pregnancy is when the belly starts to come out and the woman notices the weight gain. This can cause slight abdominal discomfort and leg cramps due to the stretching of the muscles and the compression of the uterus on the veins, which hinders the return of venous blood.

On the other hand, uncomfortable symptoms such as nausea and vomiting begin to subside. This makes the woman feel better and start to enjoy her pregnancy. However, gastrointestinal discomfort such as gas or constipation is common.

Special care must be taken in the sun, as there is a risk of spots appearing on the skin (chloasma gravidarum). It is therefore advisable to use sun cream with high protection.
