What does a 3D obstetric ultrasound look like?

Three-dimensional ultrasound has become a technological advance of an important diagnostic nature. Due to the high quality and resolution of the image obtained of the fetus, 3D ultrasound allows us to detect specific malformations during pregnancy such as cleft lip or cleft lip, as well as cardiac anomalies.

This ultrasound is recommended as a complement to the traditional 2D ultrasound. The difference between the two is the incorporation of the fetal volume measurement, which allows us to see the image of the fetus in three dimensions.
