The McIndoe technique is a surgical therapeutic option for women who suffer from Rokitansky syndrome and lack a vagina. This method consists of inserting a skin graft of the patient's own skin over a silicone prosthesis for a few days.
After this time, the prosthesis is removed and the woman must use dilators of different sizes for a few weeks. In this way, and after approximately 3 months, the woman will be able to have sexual intercourse with vaginal penetration.
