Artificial insemination (AI) is an assisted reproductive technique of low complexity, since it requires less human intervention compared to IVF.
According to the latest National Activity Registry of the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF) for 2022, the gestation rate (per cycle) for AI is 18.0%; while the delivery rate (per cycle) is 14.0%. These percentages refer to women under 35 years of age and are combined data for AI with partner or donor sperm.
